Before •Installing the Original' Control:
I. Confirm that:your Hunter Original' ceiling faniselectrically
reversible. Look fora reversing switch ontheswitch housing b elow
themotor.Refer t o Figure I.
2. Use thepull-chain switch to setthefanspeed to theHIGH position
before installation. Donotuse thepull-chain to change t hefanspeed
afterinstallation, asdamage t o your c eiling fanorcontrol mayresult.
Thespeed o f théfanshould only bechanged bytheOriginal' control.
3. Settheceilingfanlight kit to theONposition beforeinstallation.
Thelight levelshould onlybechanged b ythe Original' c ontrol.

I. Disconnect p ower to the ceilingfan and light kit at the main elec-
tric panel. R emove f useor move circuitbreaker t o theOFF position.
