Name
StartupMaps.conf - Novell* Client* for Linux configuration file.
Files
$HOME/.novell/ncl/StartupMaps.conf
Description
Specify drive mappings to run at startup. Integrated Login is not required, but credentials must be
saved or the login dialog box will appear to get the password at desktop startup.
Usage
Each entry occupies a single line in the file. Lines that are blank, or that start with a pound sign (#),
are ignored.
[/home/<username>/Desktop/<drive_link>]
Location and name of drive link.
UserName=<username>
A valid eDirectory username.
Tree= <tree name>
The eDirectory tree.
Context=<context>
Append to UserName for a Fully Distinguished Name.
Mapped=<filesystem_path>
For example: Mapped = \\mycompany\sys:
[/home/<username>/Desktop/next_drive]
Examples
A sample StartupMaps.conf file is given below:
[/home/mycompany/Desktop/xyzzy]
UserName = admin.novell
Tree = MYCOMPANY_TREE
Context =
Mapped = \\mycompany\sys:
