  • Page 4 In the wiring diagrams above a connector or jumper is shown (Connector and Fuse) that must be in position AX, NOT position RA. That is, on the middle and RH pin, not the middle and LH pin. Position is marked as AX, and it should come like this from the factory but must be checked.

  • Page 6 Connect and test controller The controller must be positioned away from vents or the heat source, where it won’t get too hot and will read the ambient temperature. To turn on the fan, press the Standby (On) button bottom right. When the controller is first connected to the mains power supply, it will run the fan for 20 seconds as a self-test, then revert to the last setting speed or auto/manual setting.

  • Page 9 3. Undo the screws and remove the fan access cover. 4. Remove the bottom plate from the outer body – This can be easier by doing it from the underside – i.e., lay the heater carefully on its back after removing the bricks.
  • Page 10 5. Pass the electrical cables x 2 through the gap and feed to the wall mount controller. 6. Now install the fan by slotting into the cut out, with the grill facing the front. Make sure that the glass tape is in position to dampen the vibrations.

  • Page 12 7. Fix the fan in position with two screws on each end.
  • Page 13 8. Fit the thermostat to the underside of Fan access cover. You may need to pry the tabs up slightly. Rotate the Thermostat under the tabs.
  • Page 14 9. Wire up the fan to the controller and test before going further – see pages 2 to 6. 10. Replace the cover for Fan Access. 11. When inserting, ensure that the cabling is fixed in position so there is no way it can move to come in contact with the fan blades.
