- Page 7 Combined with the standard specimen clamp*, the cooling block cools down to -45 °C. In case of high ambient humidity, there is a possibility of ice formation on the cooling block. In this case, the MTR provides a manual defrost function.

- Page 11 7 UNPACKING AND INSTALLATION UNPACKING THE DEVICE Open the wooden box and remove the supporting foam. Lift the device out of the wooden transportation case. Keep the packaging material in case of later transport purposes, as the device should be transported in the original packaging to avoid transportation damage.
- Page 12 8.1 MOUNTING THE COOLING BLOCK ON THE CUT SERIES The MTR cooling head with screwed-on insulation element is already pre-assembled. It can be positioned centrally in the standard object clamp. In order to ensure a permanently secure connection, the knurled screw should be hand-tightened with a 17 mm open-ended wrench*.

- Page 14 70010860 8.4 PROGRAMMING THE MTR The MTR has a central operating panel with display. The display shows two different temperatures whereat the upper line states the actual temperature and the line below shoes the programmed temperature configured by the user.
- Page 15 Depending on the configured temperature and the ambient conditions (humidity), ice may build up at the cooling block. The MTR features a defrost function allowing the user to actively melt the ice by pressing the defrost button (see display). After the ice has melted, press the defrost button again to stop the defrosting process.

- Page 17 If it is necessary to return the device, it must be cleaned and disinfected before delivery. It must be returned in its original packing. If the device or parts thereof are sent back in a dirty or non-disinfected condition, SLEE medical GmbH reserves the right to return the parts to the debit of the customer.
