USING THE SENDS
The Mix Send, Channel 1 Send, and Channel 2 Send use XLR balanced line output
jacks designed to supply high-level signals to professional gear such as mixing con-
soles for P.A.'s and recording. In addition, any of these can be sent to a Fishman
Acoustic Monitor Pro. The Mix Send contains a mix of both channels, plus any
reverb and effects that may have been added to the signals. The Channel 1 and
Channel 2 sends are pre-EQ, meaning that their signals are taken from the input to
those channels, so tone control settings and reverb are not part of the sound coming
from them.
USING THE EFFECTS LOOPS
All three Effects Loops are designed to send a portion of the channel's signal to an
outboard signal processor and then mix it with the dry signal. Always use high-quali-
ty shielded cables for effects-loop use. The Effects Sends can also be used as
unbalanced line outputs from each channel and the Master section (a signal does
not have to return, nor does a plug have to be inserted into the Effects Return).
