Chapter II: Hardware System and Network Setup
2-1 Build your network (Initial hardware setup)
Please follow the following instructions to build the network connection
between the Hi-Gain Wireless-N Dual Radio Smart Repeater and your
computers and other network devices:
1. Connect the included antennas to your Smart Repeater.
2. Connect the power adapter to the Smart Repeater
3. Connect all 'wired' users to the HW2R1 via the Wired Local Area Network
(LAN) ports in grey. For wireless user's scan for the SSID of the Smart
Repeater (Smart_Repeater) and connect. You must be within range of
the Smart Repeater before connecting.
Wireless Connection:
4. Check to see the activity of the LEDs on the front panel. 'PWR' LED should
be on, LAN LEDs should be on if the computer / network device connected
to the respective port of the Smart Repeater is powered on and correctly
connected. If PWR LED is not on, or any LED you expected is not on,
please recheck the power connection, or jump to '4-2 Troubleshooting' for
possible reasons and solutions.
