Switching Blu-ray Zones:
Switching Zones is done using the remote control.
Switching DVD Regions:
Switching Regions is done using the remote control.
NOTE: Zone/Region switching must be done within 20 seconds.
Resume Playback Error:
Resume playback of a disc can generate a zone or region error message if the disc was first loaded in a none corresponding zone or region. Since the player 'remembers' where it stopped playing the last time, it will automatically resume playing from that point. Which will be the zone mismatch error part on the disc.
Solution:
First make sure the correct zone or region is selected.
Press the STOP button when the resume playback message shows on screen. This has to be done within 5 seconds (before the message goes off screen).

Firmware updating.
Goto the OPPO website to download the latest official firmware manually or connect the player to your internet connection to have it installed automatically.
Opening your player
Make sure that your player is disconnected from the mains before you even start opening the player. If you set the unit in front of you with the display towards you there are 5 screws at the back of the player. Remove them using a Philips screwdriver. Remove the 2 screws at the left and 2 at the right side. Remove the top cover, by gently lifting the back of the cover up, until it comes free.
To remove the audio board and power supply board Make sure to de-attach the cables with care. The screws are marked with red in the picture below, several screws are placed at the backplate. When the boards are removed, you are ready to install the kit at the mainboard
The Yellow marked point shows where cable have to be inserted
Connect the 4-pin plug to the 4-pin socket on the right lower part of the mainboard. Remove the protective paper from the adhesive tape on the backside of the mod and place the to the side of the player.
