  • Page 5 1 Introduction 1.1 Brief Introduction The E51 series modules are long-range, low-power transmission Wi-Sun modules that are equipped with Silicon Labs' EFR32FG25 family of chips, enabling wireless broadcasts of up to 0.3~2.5 kilometers with minimal data loss in dense urban canyon environments. It also supports Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing Modulation (OFDM), a technique introduced in Wi-SUN Field Area Networks (FANs), enabling high data bandwidths of up to 3.6 Mbps.
