When using electrical appliances, basic safety
precautions should always be followed to reduce
the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to

play with the appliance.

from spilled hot liquid.
5. To protect against fire, electric shock, and
personal injury, do not immerse cord, plug,
power base, or electric kettle in water or other
liquid.
6. Unplug from outlet when kettle is not in use and
before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on
or taking off parts and before cleaning.
7. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged
supply cord or plug, or after the appliance
malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged
in any manner. Supply cord replacement
and repairs must be conducted by the
manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly
qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

for information on examination, repair, or
adjustment.
8. The use of accessory attachments not
recommended by the manufacturer may result
in fire, electric shock, or personal injury.
9. Do not use outdoors.
10. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or
