- Page 4 Using the MC-DC2 Using the MC-DC2 The camera responds to the shutter-release button on the MC-DC2 as it would to the shut- ter-release button on the camera body. See the camera manual for details. The MC-DC2 shutter-release button can be locked in the fully-pressed position by slid- ing the lock to the HOLD position (Figure 4).
