Right-click the database and select Export Database.

When the Browse button is not enabled, by default the file is stored in this
directory:
serverRoot/slapd-serverID/ldif
Click OK to export the file.

You can export your database to LDIF using the

when the server is running or stopped.
To export to LDIF from the command line:
