    Inserting and removing the battery and card Follow Steps 1 and 2 to open the battery/card compartment cover. • Turn off the camera before opening the battery/card compartment cover.     Insert the card straight until it clicks into place. • Always use SD/SDHC/SDXC cards or Eye-Fi card with this camera. Do not insert other types of memory cards. • Do not touch the metallic parts of the card directly. Write-protect switch Follow Steps 1 and 2 to close battery/card compartment cover.

    Use HI to select the [x] time zone and then press the A button. • Use FG to turn daylight saving time ([Summer]) on or off. Taking photographs Press the n button to turn on the camera. When the camera is turned on, the monitor will turn on. Set the mode dial to P.

Damage to the battery exterior (scratches, etc.) may produce heat or an explosion. • Always store batteries out of the reach of small children and pets.
