    Preparing the camera a. Charge the battery. Note There are two types of the LI-50C battery charger, one is “AC cable type” and the other is “plug-in type”. Depending on the region where you purchased the camera, the included battery charger type differs. We explain here how to use the AC cable type battery charger as an example.

    Appendix Camera care Cleaning the camera Exterior: • Wipe gently with a soft cloth. If the camera is very dirty, soak the cloth in mild soapy water and wring well. Wipe the camera with the damp cloth and then dry it with a dry cloth. If you have used the camera at the beach, use a cloth soaked in clean water and wrung well.
