1. intenDeD USe
The "Energy monitor 3000" provides a simple way to measure the energy consumption and monitor the
current, voltage and frequency of electrical appliances. The measure range is from 1.5 to 3000 Watts. If these
limits are exceeded, the device will no longer be accurate. The device is only authorised to connected to
mains outlet (230 V/50 Hz) and with current less than 13 A. Even though the device is very accurate, it is not
officially certified for the account of cost of electricity between power supplier and consumer. The device is only
authorised to use in dry indoor, outdoor use is forbidden.
This product fulfils European and national requirements related to electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
CE conformity has been verified and the relevant statements and documents have been deposited at
the manufacturer.
Unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the device are inadmissible because of safety and approval
reasons (CE). Any usage other than described above is not permitted and can damage the product and lead to
associated risks such as short-circuit, fire, electric shock, etc. Please read the operating instructions thoroughly
and keep them for further reference.

• The product is not a toy and should be kept out of reach of children!
• When used in conjunction with other devices, observe the operating instructions and safety notices of
connected devices.
• The product must not be subjected to heavy mechanical stress.
• The product must not be exposed it to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, intense vibration, or
dampness.
• The attached load must not exceed 3000 W(13 A).
• Never connect batteries or other voltage supplies to the power adapter output.
• Never exceed the input voltage and never connect the power output to power loads requiring more than
13 A.
• Make sure the conductive ground wire is not broken as this can pose lethal danger in the event of a
malfunction.
• Never insert any object into or block the ventilation holes of device.
• The manufacturer or supplier accept no responsibility whatsoever for incorrect displays or the consequences
which can arise from such incorrect displays.
• If the product is used in a commercial context, the safety prevention regulations of employers' liability
insurance association for electrical equipment and relevant operating resources must be observed.
• This product may not be used for medical purposes or published information.
Battery safety
• Correct polarity must be observed while inserting the batteries.
• Batteries should be removed from the device if it is not used for a long period of time to avoid damage
through leaking. Leaking or damaged batteries might cause acid burns when in contact with skin, therefore
use suitable protective gloves to handle corrupted batteries.
• Batteries must be kept out of reach of children. Do not leave the battery lying around, as there is risk, that
children or pets swallow it.
• All the batteries should be replaced at the same time. Mixing old and new batteries in the device can lead
to battery leakage and device damage.
• Batteries must not be dismantled, short-circuited or thrown into fire. Never recharge non-rechargeable
batteries. There is a risk of explosion!
