GETTING STARTED WITH YOUR EREADER If you haven‘t done so already, take a look at the QuickStart Guide included inside your Kobo eReader package. You‘ll find your QuickStart Guide and a USB cable tucked into the right panel of your box - simply lift the flap and pull out the paper tray.

頁 1 / 1 NAVIGATING YOUR EREADER You can navigate your Kobo eReader using the 5-way Directional Pad (D-Pad) and the four buttons found on the left-hand edge: A line drawing of the eReader with numbered call-outs matching the list below.
Books: This is where all of your eBooks are stored. • Documents: This is where all your PDF documents can be found. Kobo is working continuously to add more file formats and will provide updates for your eReader to enable future enhancements.

When reading, you can use the left or right buttons to move forward or backward, page by page. TIP: When reading, you can increase or your font-size by clicking up or down on the Directional Pad.

PAIRING A NEW DEVICE OVER BLUETOOTH® In order to wirelessly transfer your eBooks to your Kobo eReader, you will need to “pair” your eReader with your BlackBerry smartphone. Pairing enables the eReader and smartphone to securely communicate. To pair device: Using your BlackBerry, download the latest Kobo Mobile Application from http://koboBooks.com/blackberry/.

Software Version: This is the version number and build date of the eReader’s firmware. Use this to determine if you need to update the software of your Kobo eReader by comparing it online when you are notified of an update.

Pairing enables the eReader and smartphone to securely communicate. The Kobo eReader can only be paired to one BlackBerry device at a time. Pairing a new device will erase all Kobo purchased items and replace it with locally stored items from the new phone.
