Horizontal Spacing

• The Kern option allows
you to adjust the space
between characters,
allowing you to create an
equal amount of space
between each word or
lines of text.

Using •
The Kern option enables you to adjust the space between characters
Kerning
so you can fine-tune and even out the amount of space between each
word or line of text.
To use the Kerning option:

Select the text that you would like to adjust the spacing in:

Open the Control Panel to adjust the Kerning:

You can use the forward or back arrows to increase the space
between letters
OR decrease the space between letters:
