Test 4: Governor Malfunction
1. Inspect control lines to and from the governor
for restrictions (e.g. collapsed or kinked).
Repair as necessary.
2. Using a calibrated external gauge in the

reservoir is located at or near the top of the
reservoir. (This line, if located near the bottom of
the reservoir, can become blocked or restricted
by the reservoir contents e.g. water or ice.)

unloader port. Add a section of air hose (min
1 ft long for a 1/2" diameter line) and a gauge
to the fitting followed by a shut-off valve and an
air source (shop air or small air tank). Open the
