LUBRICATION & PERIODIC MAINTENANCE COOLING SYSTEM CAUTION: Do not open the radiator cap except when checking or replacing the coolant. Make sure to allow the engine to cool sufficiently before opening the cap. If the cap is opened while the engine is hot, coolant may be discharged, resulting in a burn or other injury.

Mix in 50/50anti-freeze (Long Life Coolant) when the outside temperature will drop below 0 °C (32 °F) during the winter. The mixture ratio of anti-freeze differs depending upon the anti-freeze manufacturer and temperature.
