    Electrical safety Observe the following rules when working on electrical equipment. Important: Use only approved tools and test equipment. Some hand tools have handles covered with a soft material that does not insulate you when working with live electrical currents. Many customers have, near their equipment, rubber floor mats that contain small conductive fibers to decrease electrostatic discharges.

Restoring the factory contents by using Product Recovery discs When the hard disk drive (HDD) or solid state drive (SSD) is replaced because of a failure, no Product Recovery program is on the new drive.

    Before servicing ThinkPad X220 Tablet and X220i Tablet models Removing the SIM card: Some models of the ThinkPad X220 Tablet and X220i Tablet you are servicing might have the SIM card that the customer has been installed. If the computer you are servicing has the SIM card, remove it before you start the servicing. To remove the SIM card, you need to remove the battery pack first.
