Setup, operating system and
hard disk with supervisor and
user password. The passwords
consist of a maximum of eight
alphanumeric characters.
Prevents unauthorised booting
of an operating system from
external media (e.g. USB stick,
USB CD-ROM drive etc.).

information during the boot

only be started with SmartCard
and PIN.

Security menu and edit the
option Owner Information.
Initialise the SmartCard in the
BIOS.
Install software e.g. SmartCase
Logon+ (accessories). Specify
a password when using the
SmartCase Logon+ software.
Define a supervisor password
in the BIOS Setup and enable
the TPM (Security Chip).
