Select the applied rule from the left column in the top half of the panel.

The bottom half of the panel displays the style properties for the applied rule.
Modify the properties in the bottom half of the panel.

Press Enter to accept a modified property value and to see how the change affects the
component in Design view.
Note: If you modify CSS styles in a style sheet used by more than one file, those changes will be
reflected in those files as well.
When you're finished editing the style, save your work.

If you modified a style in an external style sheet, make sure to save the file and upload it to the

server to ensure your changes are reflected when you compile and run the file.

Deleting a CSS style

You can visually delete CSS styles from an MXML file or from an external CSS file.
Note: Deleting a style removes the formatting from any element using the style.
To delete a style:
Select the style in the CSS Styles panel (Window > CSS Styles).

Click the Delete CSS Style button (the trash can icon) at the bottom of the panel.
Right-click the style in the panel and select Delete from the context menu.
