which it is installed. Provisions for adequate combustion and ventilation air must be

This appliance may be installed in an aftermarket* manufactured (mobile) home, where not
prohibited by state or local codes.

    INSTALLATION NOTICE: This heater is intended for use as supplemental heat. Use this heater along with your pri- mary heating system. Do not in- stall this heater as your primary heat source. If you have a central heating system, you may run system’s circulating blower while using heater.

    INSTALLATION Continued INSTALLING WIRELESS REMOTE CONTROL ACCESSORY Two 9-volt alkaline batteries (not included) are required to operate this heater with the wireless hand held remote control set. One battery must be installed in the receiver and one in the hand-held remote control unit. Note: Only use alkaline batteries.

Make sure the notches of the cross- over log lines up with rectangular knobs on top of the middle and front logs (see Figure 24).

If needed, keep press- ing ignitor button until pilot lights. Note: If pilot does not stay lit, con- tact a qualified service person or gas supplier for repairs.

    OPERATING HEATER Continued IMPORTANT: This remote control has been specially engineered to take an air temperature sample every 5.5 minutes in the auto mode. It will not respond immediately to the tempera- ture setting being turned up or down. IMPORTANT: The hand-held remote control unit must be near the heater.
