  • Page 22 This 800 is designed with care and built with quality materials by skilled workers. Proper assembly, maintenance, and operating practices, as described in this manual, will help the owner/operator get years of satisfactory service from the machine. The purpose of this manual is to familiarize and instruct. The Assembly Section instructs the owner/operator in the correct assembly of the Blade using standard and optional equipment.
  • Page 23 The 800 Blade features a maximum of 30" of offset from the center line of the tractor for working outside the tractor tire. The 2-1/2” diameter solid steel kingpin and the 3/8” x 17" reinforced moldboard are standard for rugged durability.

    The power required to operate a blade is determined by the tractor PTO horsepower. For most operating conditions, the 800 rear blade requires a tractor with at least 85 HP for a 2-Wheel Drive, and 72 HP for a Front Wheel Assist Tractor.
  • Page 32: Tractor 3-Point Hitch

    The tractor 3-point hitch must be rated to lift at least 628 lbs. for the 7’, and 678 lbs. for the 8’. The 800 attaches to a tractor with a CAT I or II hitch. Refer to the tractor operator’s manual for the category of the tractor used.
