13. What to do if there's a problem

Problem
The Digital TENS is switched on
but no display is visible and no
stimulation can be felt.
The Digital TENS is switched on
and a display is visible but no
stimulation can be felt.
The self-adhesive electrode
does not stick.

14. Re-ordering accessories

Self-adhesive electrodes are available from specialist shops or can be ordered
by post from ibp GmbH quoting the following code number:
Elektropads, 40 x 40 mm, set of 4, ibp code 20301.

Possible cause
The battery has not
been inserted.
The battery has been
inserted incorrectly.
The battery is dead.
The Digital TENS is
faulty.
The pulse strength is set
too low.
The cables are not
properly connected.
A supply cable or an
electrode is faulty.
The Digital TENS is
faulty.
The adhesive on the
electrode has dried up.
Remedy
Insert the battery
Insert the battery correctly.
Change the battery.
Send the Digital TENS to our
Service Department – see Service
and Warranty.
Increase the pulse strength.
Check all the cable connections
and insert the cables firmly.
Change the supply cable or
electrode.
Send the Digital TENS to our
Service Department – see Service
and Warranty.
Change the self-adhesive
electrode.
