Easy Setup Procedure

• This section contains the basic steps necessary to configure the AVR-1707 according to your listening
room environment and the source equipment and loudspeakers you are using.
• To set the sound field manually ( page 43 ~ 45).

Easy to setup flow

Placing the speakers.
Connecting the speakers.
Connect the DVD player to
the AVR-1707.
Connect the AVR-1707's
monitor output terminal to
the TV's video input
terminal ( page 9).
• Do not plug in the power supply cord until all connections have been completed.
Auto setup flow
Connecting a microphone ( page 10).
The measurement of the speakers in the
listening position.
1) Speaker Configuration

3) Channel Level
Check of the measurement result.
Store the measurement result in the memory.
Play a DVD.
