Mobile Home Anchoring and Air
Anchor dryer to floor and ensure at least 25 sq. in. of unobstructed make-up air.
Mobile Home Exhaust
Exhaust must terminate securely outside, using non-combustible materials, not beneath the home.
EXHAUSTING
Exhaust Duct Material Warning
Never use plastic or non-metal flexible duct; use only metal exhaust duct to prevent fire hazards.
Recommended Duct Size
Use minimum 4-inch diameter rigid aluminum or galvanized steel duct; avoid larger sizes.
Exhausting Prohibitions
Never exhaust dryer into walls, ceilings, crawl spaces, gas vents, or chimneys to prevent fire hazards.
Exhaust Hood Specifications
