ENSURE THAT THE FOLLOWING PARTS HAVE BEEN INCLUDED IN THE KIT:
1 Left Front Accent
1 Right Front Accent
1 Left Rear Accent
1 Right Rear Accent
2 Alcohol Pads
1 Installation Instructions
YOU WILL ALSO NEED:
Warm, soapy water and clean rag, masking or painter's tape, marker
STEP 1 Read and understand all steps in the instructions before starting the installation. Park the motorcycle on a hard, level surface and turn
IGN OFF.
STEP 2 Refer to PIC 1. Using warm soapy water and a clean
rag, remove all dirt and debris from the installation
areas; allow the areas to dry completely.
Wipe the installation areas with the included alcohol
pads to remove any wax or polish; allow the areas to
dry completely.
STEP 3 Test fit the Accents as shown in PIC 2. "Hook" the bot-
tom tip on the edge of the saddlebag; align the Accent
with the existing lower trim. Rotate the Accent up into
place; align it so the reveal is even. Use masking tape
to make alignment marks; remove the Accents.
STEP 4 Use your fingernail to rub the adhesive backing; this will
activate the adhesive. Remove and discard the backing.
STEP 5 Align the Accents; press into place for one minute; full
bonding will occur after 24 hours. Remove and discard the masking tape.
STEP 6 Repeat for the other side.
NOTE: If the bike is going to be operated before full bonding occurs, secure the Accent to the fairing with a good quality
masking or painter's tape.
