Replacing elbow on models 704 and 707
Swivel
Elbow
We recommend removing the old swivel before ordering any parts in case there is
internal corrosion. Spray internally with a penetrating oil to break down any corrosion.
TOOLS REQUIRED:
ALLEN WRENCH OR HEX SCREWDRIVER
PLIERS

Locate the opening in the hose reel spool revealing
the Hex Screw.

Use an Allen Wrench or Hex Screwdriver to remove the HEX SCREW.

Use Pliers to unscrew the swivel from the elbow connector inside of the
drum. DO NOT HOLD THE SQUARE SWIVEL HEAD as it is designed to
turn. Hold the swivel shaft stationary and turn the reel with your right hand
to unthread the swivel.
Note: If your original swivel is aluminum, please
continue with instructions below to Step 4.
If your hose reel has a brass swivel, remove the elbow
from the opening of the drum. Install new elbow and attach swivel.

Remove crank handle bolt and remove crank arm.
