Before You Begin
Charge the laptop to at least 70% battery, run and install any pending updates ( both macOS
and Windows ), and restart the computer to ensure the updates have been fully applied.

Download and install the DisplayLink driver for Windows from our website here (

Getting Started on macOS
Download and install the DisplayLink Manager App for macOS, and configure macOS to enable
USB connected displays:

After Installing the DisplayLink Software
Connect the HDMI display(s) to the docking station, and any USB devices
Connect the laptop's power supply to the USB-C power port on the side of the docking station.
Connect the docking station's captive USB-C cable to the USB-C port on the computer.
Configure the external displays through the Display Settings panels in macOS or Windows
Common Problems
The computer is not charging from the docking station:

Check to ensure the laptop's original power supply is connected to the docking station,
and ensure the original power supply is rated for between 45W and 100W.

Power supplies rated above 100W are not supported by this docking station and the
power supply should be connected directly to the computer

Power supplies rated below 45W may not be capable of powering both the docking
station and computer, the power supply can be replaced with a 60W USB-C power
supply ( sold separately ).
