Compatibility
Q. Does this device require software or a driver download?
Yes, the UD-6950PDH docking station utilizes DisplayLink technology to drive the connected
displays.
Most Windows powered systems should automatically install the DisplayLink driver as long as
you have administrative privileges and are connected to the Internet.
MacOS systems will require that you download, install, and configure the DisplayLink manager

Q. What operating systems is this compatible with?
The UD-6950PDH is compatible with macOS 11+, Windows 10 and newer, and ChromeOS
100+ systems with Thunderbolt, USB4, or USB-C. Driver installation required. HDCP not
supported.
Q. Is this dock suitable for gaming?
No, the UD-6950PDH relies on a USB graphics technology known as DisplayLink. DisplayLink
graphics is great for general office or productivity use, but we do not recommend DisplayLink for
any graphics intensive tasks such as gaming.
Q. What are the recommended use-cases for this device?
The UD-6950PDH is great for office and light web-browsing applications.It can be used for travel
or hotdesk setups as well.Displays
Q. Does this allow "extending" the monitor instead of just
duplicating (mirroring) the desktops with this docking station?
Yes, the UD-6950PDH allows you to extend your desktop to two 4K@60Hz external displays.
