1. WIRED AS PILOT LIGHT (Single pole switch controls light )
Pilot light is on when switch is on.
Pilot light is off when switch is off.
Wiring:
(1) Connect the hot wire in the electrical box to the A1 yellow terminal screw.
(2) Connect the load wire in the electrical box to any of the COMMON black terminal screw. (Make
sure that the Break-off tab is intact)
(3) Connect the neutral wire in the electrical box to the W white terminal screw.
Application:
A pilot light that illuminates when the switch is turned on. This is to alert you that lights in another
location can't be seen from the switch - such as outdoor patio lighting, a detached garage, or basement
lights.
