Trouble Shooting Guide

PROBLEM
Recorded tracks cannot be heard on playback.
Unable to hear track recorded from MIC input.
Cannot change record quality from CD or LP or EP.
I can't access internal songs recorded on the BNX3.
Why can't I select Re-Amp track as record input?
Cannot Merge tracks.
FS300/GNX FC footswitch not functioning properly.
Expression pedal will not respond properly.
Why can't I access Factory presets with footswitches in Bank Mode?
Wah won't engage easily.

SOLUTIONS
Check analog output configuration in Utilty section. Set this to
MONO or STEREO.
Verify recorded tracks are lit GREEN during playback. This applies to
looped tracks as well.
Check output mode in Utility.
Check MIC input level.
Check SETUP to route MIC to recorder.
Only one recorder quality for all tracks is possible per song. Record mode of
first track determines mode for subsequent tracks.
Remove Smart Media Card.
Re-Amp is not available unless previous tracks have been recorded.
Verify Stereo Record is set to OF
Tracks that are lit Green will be merged to Tracks that are lit Yellow. Merge
cannot be Undone. Only up to 2 tracks can be merged (to yellow) at a time.
Looped tracks cannot be merged.
Verify that a TRS stereo cable is being used.
Re-calibrate the Expression Pedal in the Utility menu.
In Bank Mode only User programs are accessible by footswitch. Use Data
Wheel to access Factory presets.
Adjust V-Switch threshold in Utility section.
Turn Wah on for current preset in Edit Mode.
