INSTALLATION STEPS
1. Remove rubber isolators from the driver side and center of vehicle. (See Rubber Isolator Removal Diagram)
Remove (2) bolts securing the passenger side exhaust bracket and lower exhaust.
2. Remove heat shield, trim off wings to achieve a square shape. Re-attach with four existing fasteners.
3. Fishwire 1/2" carriage bolts and SP-10 spacers to proper locations it the driver and passenger side frame rails.
(See Fishwire Technique)
4. Lift hitch into position. Attach with 1/2" flange nuts and to existing weldnuts with M8 bolts (4).
Note: The passenger side exhaust bracket will sandwich the passenger side plate.
5. Torque all 1/2" hardware to 75 ft-lbs and all M8 bolts to 17 ft-lbs.
6. Raise exhaust back into position.
PERIODICALLY CHECK THIS RECEIVER HITCH TO ENSURE THAT ALL FASTENERS
ARE TIGHT AND THAT ALL STRUCTURAL COMPONENTS ARE SOUND.
