AXIS P3925-LRE Network Camera Impact on warranty This product is approved for repaint by Axis, provided that you follow the instructions in this document and at axis.com/warranty-implication-when-repainting. Risks with repainting There are several risks when disassembling or assembling an Axis product. Training of operators and the use of correct tools mediates some of the problems but they can never be fully avoided. - Page 3 AXIS P3925-LRE Network Camera Repaint the product Preparations • If applicable, disassemble the device according to the instructions in this document. • Clean all parts that will be repainted thoroughly to remove grease, dust, or oil. • To ensure reassembly and functionality of the product, mask any openings (for example for screws, LED indicators, or microphones) before you paint.
- Page 4 AXIS P3925-LRE Network Camera Remove the two screws and the bracket. Remove the gasket from the window. Repainting Mask the front window with the included cardboard. Make sure the cardboard is properly positioned. Reassemble the bracket and fasten the two screws.
- Page 5 AXIS P3925-LRE Network Camera Mask the IR windows with masking tape. Make sure all necessary preparations of the dome cover have been made. See Preparations, on page 3. Apply a thin and even layer of spray paint according to the instructions of the paint manufacturer.
- Page 6 AXIS P3925-LRE Network Camera Let the paint dry. To get a better coverage and clearer color, apply a second layer of spray paint. When the paint is dry, remove the masking. Reassembly Remove the two screws and the bracket. Remove the front window and the cardboard.
- Page 7 AXIS P3925-LRE Network Camera Reassemble the gasket. Make sure the gasket is placed in the correct position to ensure a tight seal to the window opening. Reassemble the front window. Make sure the gasket is still pressed tight and even against the window...
