Power switch 1
The power switch 1 on the rear of the appliance
switches the power supply on or off.
When the power switch 1 has been switched on, the
illuminated ring on button d 4 is lit green. The ap
pliance is in stand by" mode.

Do not press the power switch while
the appliance is operating. Do not
switch off the appliance until it is in
stand by mode.
Function selector 2
z
coffee, 0 hot water or = steam can be selec
ted by rotating function selector 2.
d
Risk of scalding!
When the function selector is set
to 0 or =, the nozzle may spurt
slightly. Escaping water or steam
is very hot. Do not touch nozzle 13
or direct at people!
Display 3
Display 3 uses symbols to indicate the appliance
settings and messages. See page 19.
