• Three Color LEDs - Current technology does not allow LED suppliers to guarantee color consistency. It is common to have
a slight difference among LEDs used to back light keypads. Because of this slight LED manufacturer inconsistency, slight
variations in color may be present among keypads.
Auto Backlight Feature - Keypads with the auto backlight feature incorporate a built-in light sensor. When enabled, through
•
Design Center™ software, the sensor will change the brightness of the button LEDs. The auto backlight feature will not change
all keypads at the same time. For example in normal light the buttons will be bright. In extremely low light conditions, (nighttime),
the buttons will be dimmed to a very low level. Many conditions lend to all keypads in an area not changing at the same time.
The location of each keypad is primary. In multiple gang situations more light may be on one part of the multi-ganged station
causing the auto backlight feature to operate differently in that section of the keypad. Many other lighting factors, even less
noticeable to the human eye, can affect auto backlight sensors intended results.
• Because light variations and the conditions mentioned above are inevitable, it is not always practical to use the auto backlight
feature. This feature may be turned off in software. If the auto backlight feature is not working as the client and installer intend,
Vantage recommends using one of the following two suggestions to control the brightness of three-color LED buttons.
1. Edit the LED style for three-color buttons by creating two LED modes. Each mode can use the same ON/OFF colors
at very different intensities. Create two time controls. One for sunrise and one for sunset. Program the time controls to
assign the appropriate mode.

2. Create the two mode LED style as described in step one. Install a Vantage light sensor and program the light sensor to
change the mode of selected 3-color keypads.

support the auxiliary connection port (new four wire version). Each of the programmable
Touch Switch buttons are evenly backlit with a built-in diffuser and three color** LEDs. The
programmable backlight color indicates the button status. The keypad also features a built-
in ambient light sensor for automatic day/night backlight** intensity control. adorne
connect to Vantage, InFusion Systems via the InFusion controller's Station Bus. Faceplates
and mounting brackets are sold separately from Legrand® distributers around the world. See

*NOTE: One and three button configurations may display a (–/+, minus and plus) button on
the left and right side of buttons assigned a dimmable task. These icons use the same color
assigned to the respective button. The –/+ (minus/plus) buttons support press and hold for
fading or ramping or press and release for stepping assigned loads.
