7. Using the FreeAgent Theater for Macintosh Application
Opening the application for the first time initiates an automatic install of the software. It also
opens the first of three Product Registration windows.

Enter the information in the three Registration windows.
Click Cancel to postpone the registration and complete the software installation.
Note:
You can register later by selecting Product Registration in the FreeAgent Theater Help
menu.
Using the Media Sync Application
You can manually select the folders to synchronize or you can set up automatic
synchronization so that the media folders on your computer are synchronized when the
external drive is connected to your computer.
Note:
You can sync the same folder on your computer with multiple external drives, one at a time.
You can also use one external drive to sync folders on multiple computers.
The left panel shows the drives connected to your computer. These are the destination
folders onto which you will sync your source media files (Movies, Pictures, and Music or
other folders you choose) from your computer.
The right panel is where you choose the source files to be copied to the destination
drive.
The bottom right section of the window is where you set up automatic synchronization
and where you start synchronizing files after you have selected the source and
destination folders.
There are two sync options:
Default Sync: Use your default media folders (Movies, Pictures, Movies) as the source
folders
Manual Sync: Manually select the source folders to synchronize
Using Media Sync
Note:
An external drive must be connected to your computer before you can select the source
folders used for media sync.
