DHCP IP (AUTO): Automatically receive an assigned IP address from a router or server on
the local network (suggested).
STATIC IP (MANUAL): Manually configure the IP address (for advanced users only).
Wireless Setup
You can save a wireless setup configuration with three different sets of settings.
Profile Name: Identify a particular configuration

Component 1: One set of saved wireless settings

Component 2: A second set of saved wireless settings

Component 2: A third set of saved wireless settings
Firmware Setup
Online Upgrade
If your media player is connected to the Internet,
1. Select Online Upgrade.
The media player checks for an upgrade and displays a prompt if an upgrade is available.
2. Follow the directions in the prompt to download the firmware upgrade.
USB Upgrade
If your media player is not connected to a network,
1. On your computer, go to the Seagate website at www.seagate.com, select your
language, and go to Support.
2. Download the firmware upgrade to your computer.
