3. Playing Media Files
You follow the same basic steps to find and play any type of media file. After you've used the
remote and the menu to open the screen for a selected media type, use the media menus to
make choices about how to sort, select, and play the media files.

Supported File Types

The media player supports specific movie, picture, and music file types.

Movies

The media player supports these movie file types:

Movie Subtitles

The media player plays supported subtitle formats with a movie.The subtitle file name must
be the same as the movie file name and the subtitle file and movie file must reside in the
same folder.
The media player supports these subtitle formats: SMI/SAMI, SRT, and SUB.

Pictures

The media player supports these picture file types:
