- Page 2 Intended Use The VR253\VR253A Deluxe Commode is a bedside commode designed with the intention of compensating for an injury, illness or overcoming a temporary or permanent disability. The commode provides access to bedside WC facilities where the user is unable to safely negotiate a move to the bathroom but is able to retain an assessed level of independence.

- Page 4 User Instruction The VR253\VR253A Deluxe Commode is provided fully assembled and ready for use. The commode bucket is situated under the padded seat. The padded seat is hinged to enable ease of use. To access the commode facility; Holding onto the handle at the front of the seat (fig 1)
