    In all CIARA Astro PW64-Q2 models the battery is a custom 3 V Lithium battery model CR-2032U made by Asus that can be installed only by CIARA. This type of battery should last at least 3 years, if the system is not in use. When the computer is plugged in, the standby current from the power supply extends the life of the battery.
