R3LAY VSC Quick Start Guide
What You'll Need
•
An Ethernet cable
•
Your R3LAY VSC License Key (this may be printed on your software order receipt, or, if you also
purchased an OnAir 4 interface, in the box itself)
•
A PC or laptop with a benchmark of more 8,000 points or better
•
Some time to read your User Manual!
Getting Started
If you have a Lawo OnAir 4 interface, connect it to your PC or laptop with an Ethernet cable. Without
turning on the computer, apply power to your OnAir 4. The front-panel display will show a configuration
notice; wait until configuration is complete (approximately 2 minutes), then switch on the computer.
Use your Web browser to navigate to
already have an account on the Lawo site; simply enter your username and password to log in. If you do
not have an account, please complete the Registration process.
After registration, go to the Downloadcenter and click / 30_virtual _radio/R3LAY_VRX8 .

First, click the Software sub-folder and download the latest installation software (filename starts
with LawoR#LAYVRX8Setup).
•
Second, click the Documentation sub-folder and download the latest User Guide and Software
Licensing Quickstart PDFs.

register it using the License Key provided; without
registration the system runs in Demo mode only.
