  • Page 9 MAC address allocation There are 10 MAC addresses that are allocated for the eight Ethernet interface ports and two internal reserved ports. The system has 128 MAC address allocations available. The physical ports of the host base board and BMC management interface use the first 10 MAC addresses.

  • Page 21 Configure BMC management address in BIOS To run the Unified firmware updater tool remotely, a BMC management address must be configured. This can be done through booting into the BIOS or from the BMC console. 1.
