1 Use a small, flathead screwdriver to loosen
battery cover screw. When you remove
cover, the screw remains in the unit.
2 Press corners to remove cover.
3 Remove batteries.
4 Insert two new 3-volt batteries (CR2032 or
equivalent), correctly positioned with the
positive side facing up as shown.
5 Place the battery cover on the unit and
secure with the screw.
One (1) Year Limited Warranty
Dorel Juvenile Group, Inc. warrants to the original purchaser that this product (Light Up Tongue Depressor), is free from material and workmanship defects when used under normal conditions for a period of one (1) year
from the date of purchase. Should the product contain defects in material or workmanship, Dorel Juvenile Group, Inc. will repair or replace the product, at our option, free of charge. Purchaser will be responsible for all
costs associated with packaging and shipping the product to Dorel Juvenile Group Consumer Care Department at the address noted at the top of this document and all other freight or insurance costs associated with
the return. Dorel Juvenile Group will bear the cost of shipping the repaired or replaced product to the purchaser. Product should be returned in its original package accompanied by a proof of purchase, either a sales
receipt or other proof that the product is within the warranty period. This warranty is void if the owner repairs or modifies the product or the product has been damaged as a result of misuse. This warranty excludes
any liability other than that expressly stated previously, including but not limited to, any incidental or inconsequential damages. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR

How to Use
Please read this section carefully and all the way through before
using this product.
NOTE: You can use the tongue depressor in hand or attached to
a phone.

any dirt in the outer ear. DO NOT use outer ear cleaner inside the
ear canal.

To use tongue depressor on a phone:
1. Insert attachment and twist clockwise
to secure (Figure A).
2. Pull on the spring-loaded phone grip,
insert edge of phone, and gently let go.
Align the product with the phone so it
is right underneath the camera (Figure
B). NOTE: You can orient the tongue
depressor horizontally or vertically so it
lays flat on the tongue.
3. Press the light button (Figure C) and
open the phone's camera.
4. Instruct the person to sit still and
extend tongue.
5. Insert tongue depressor (but not so
far that you cause the person to gag).
Gently press down on tongue. Look at
screen and take picture. NOTE: Adjust
unit up or down on phone until the
picture is in view. You may need to
zoom in to get a clear view of the back
of the mouth.
6. Remove from person's mouth. Turn
tip counter-clockwise to disassemble
(Figure D). See Care instructions.
7. Consult your physician and share
photos via email or health portal.
To use outer ear cleaner:
1. Insert attachment and twist clockwise
to secure.
2. Press the light button (Figure C), then
hold tip near ear for illumination. The tip
DO NOT use any replacement parts not provided and approved
by Dorel Juvenile Group. DO NOT substitute parts or try to
modify the product in any way. Parts not provided and approved
by Dorel Juvenile Group may result in an unsafe product.
• Keep these instructions as they contain
important information.
A WARNING:
• NEVER push the attachment too far into the
mouth or ear.
• DO NOT use outer ear cleaner inside the
ear canal.
• This product contains small parts. Keep
away from children at all times.
• This product contains a Button or Coin Cell
Battery. A swallowed Button or Coin Cell
Battery can cause internal chemical burns
in as little as two hours and lead to death.
Dispose of used batteries immediately.
Keep new and used batteries away from
children. If you think batteries might have
been swallowed or placed inside any part
of the body, seek immediate
medical attention.
A CAUTION:
Adult Use Only. Not intended for use by children. This product is not a
toy. When not in use, keep out of reach of children. • This is a sensitive
electronic device and may be damaged if not used properly under parental
supervision. TO AVOID BATTERY LEAKAGE: • Always follow the instructions
carefully. Use only specified batteries. Make sure to insert batteries with
the correct polarity. • Remove exhausted batteries from the product. • Do
not short-circuit the supply terminals • Remove batteries when stored for
long periods of non-use. • Do not mix old and new batteries. • Do not mix
alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable batteries. RECHARGEABLE
BATTERIES: Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the product
before being charged. Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under
adult supervision. Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Recycle or dispose pictograms following by statement: Recycle or dispose
of batteries safely according to federal, state, and local laws.
Care and Maintenance
• Always wash and dry attachment thoroughly before and after
each use.
Cleaning Tongue Depressor and Outer Ear Cleaner:
• Remove attachment from unit to clean.
• Wash in warm soapy water and rinse well.
• Air dry thoroughly before storing.
Cleaning Base Unit:
• DO NOT submerge base unit with electronics in water.
• DO NOT place in microwave.
• Wipe with damp cloth.
