REMOTE CONTROL OVERVIEW
You will need to pair the remote control with the projector before using it. Follow these instructions to pair the 2.4G wireless remote with your projector.

- Within two (2) minutes of turning on the projector, press and hold both the Vol + and Vol – keys for approximately three seconds.
- The indicator light in the remote will flash quickly during this time and then stop. When the flashing stops, this indicates that the remote has successfully paired with the projector.
NOTE: While the mouse button is activated, the Volume + or Volume - keys will function as page up and down.
USING YOUR PHONE
For greater ease of use and a more intuitive experience, you can control the projector with the KODAK LUMA Companion App from the Apple App Store or the Google Play store.
Once installed, you can use your phone as a remote to navigate through menus, mirror your screen, easily input login information for apps, and control media volume. Make sure to try out the reverse screen mirroring feature, which allows you to view the LUMA interface directly on your phone, and navigate that way!
NOTE: When screen mirroring your phone, you can not stream content through it, only downloaded content is acceptable. You can stream through the preloaded apps on your projector without screen mirroring through your phone.
- Search for the KODAK LUMA in your phone's app store.
- Download the app, and make sure that your phone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the projector.
- Open the app and follow the instructions to pair it with the projector to enable remote functionality.
USING A MOUSE
If you'd rather use a mouse instead of the provided remote control, this projector supports USB and wireless mice, as well as USB and wireless keyboards.

CHARGING THE PROJECTOR
Before using the projector, connect it to the charger and allow it to fully charge. Always use the original charger that was provided to ensure proper charging.
If the red indicator LED light is flashing, this means that the battery is low and you should plug the projector in for it to recharge. While the projector is charging, the indicator LED will be a solid red light. Once the process has completed, the indicator LED will change to a solid white light.

USING THE PROJECTOR TO CHARGE DEVICES
When the projector is powered on, you can connect the charging cable of your device to the USB port of the projector, and it will operate as a mobile power bank to charge your electronic devices. The power output is 5V/1A.

USING THE AUDIO OUT JACK
While the projector does include two (2) built-in speakers for regular use, you can also connect either headphones or a portable speaker to the 3.5mm AUDIO OUT jack as shown in the below image.

POWERING THE PROJECTOR ON/OFF
To turn the projector on or off, hold the power button on the side for three (3) seconds. Once powered on, tap the power button lightly to display the remaining battery percentage on the screen.

PHOTO PLAYBACK CONTROLS
To access your photos, from the home screen, navigate to Source > File Browser. From there you can view individual photos or a slideshow of all photos stored either on your removable storage, or on the projector itself (if you've downloaded anything). In slideshow mode, each photo will automatically display in the order they are stored.
To access the controls during playback, you will first need to tap the center circle button on top of the projector to bring up the control menu. Then you may perform the following actions:
- Pause the slideshow: tap the center circle button. Tap it again to resume.
- Play next image: tap the > button.
- Return to previous image: tap the < button.
VIDEO PLAYBACK CONTROLS
To access the controls during your video's playback, you will first need to tap the center circle button on top of the projector to bring up the control menu. Then you may perform the following actions:
- Pause video: tap the center circle button. Tap it again to resume.
- Fast forward: tap the > button. To increase the fast forward speed, tap the button again. Each press will increase the speed in this order: 2x, 4x, 8x, 16x.
- Rewind: tap the < button. To increase the rewind speed, tap the button again. Each press will increase the speed in this order: 2x, 4x, 8x, 16x.
- Exit video playback: Press and hold the center circle button for two seconds.
ADJUSTING FOCUS
If the image on the screen appears fuzzy or unfocused when you turn the projector on, use the focus wheel on the side to correct the image. Turn the wheel up or down until the image appears sharp and clear.
NOTE: If a specific image or video remains fuzzy after adjusting the focus wheel, try pressing and holding the confirm button to return to the home screen. If the home screen graphics appear clear and the image is still fuzzy, the problem may be the image or video quality.

ADJUSTING VOLUME
To adjust the device volume during playback, use the
+ and
- buttons on the remote control.
To adjust the volume without using the remote control, follow these instructions:
- From the home screen, select Settings.

- From the Settings menu, select Sounds.

- From the Sounds menu, you can adjust the volume of video playback as well as the volume level of system sounds.

CONNECTING TO WIRELESS NETWORKS
- From the home screen, select Settings.

- From the Settings menu, select Wi-Fi.

- Select the correct network from the list and use the arrows on top of the projector, your phone, or the remote to navigate the keyboard and enter the password.
- The projector should connect to that network whenever it is in range.
NOTE: It is necessary to connect to a wireless network if you want to take advantage of the Android functionality on your projector.
ADJUSTING BRIGHTNESS
If you'd like to adjust the brightness of your projector to conserve electricity and energy usage, follow these steps:
- From the home screen, select Settings.

SET THE SCREEN ORIENTATION
Depending on the placement of your projector, you can adjust the rotation and orientation of the screen display accordingly.
- From the home screen, select Settings.

- Select the image that most closely resembles the positioning of your projector and it will adjust the display accordingly.

SETTING DATE AND TIME
Your projector should automatically update to the correct date and time once you connect to a wireless network. If you need to manually adjust the date and time, follow these instructions:
- From the home screen, select Settings
- Scroll down to select Date and Time
- Either enable automatic date and time, or adjust the date and time manually.

RESETTING THE PROJECTOR
If something goes wrong, you may need to perform a factory reset on your projector. Please note, this will reset all your settings and delete your saved data, such as app login information. Follow these instructions to reset your projector:
- From the home screen, select Settings
- Scroll down to Factory Reset
- If you want to back up your data, select the first option, and connect an associated account.
- When you've finished backing up your data (or not), select the bottom option, "Factory Data Reset".
CONNECTING EXTERNAL DEVICES
- USB Drives
To access photos or videos stored on any USB drive, simply insert the drive into the corresponding port on the side. The projector will read the files directly from the drive. You can access them from the home screen by selecting Source > File Browser.

- HDMI® Compatible Devices
If you're using an HDMI compatible device, such as a laptop, personal computer, smartphone, tablet, or video game console, connect an HDMI cable from the device to your projector to access and view images and pictures. An HDMI-to-HDMI cable is included, but if your device requires an adapter, you will need to purchase it separately. To make things a little easier, we've compiled this table of devices and adapters for your convenience.
Please note, if you connect an HDMI device as well as a USB drive, the HDMI device will take precedence over the USB drive and you will need to disconnect it or press the back button on the remote to access the other connected sources. - Devices with HDMI port

SCREEN MIRRORING (ANDROID/WINDOWS - MIRACAST®)
- From the projector home screen, select "Source," select "Screen Mirroring," and then select "Miracast®". The name of the projector will be displayed on the screen so that you can accurately identify it when attempting to connect.
NOTE: When screen mirroring your Android/Windows device, you can not stream content through it, only downloaded content is acceptable. You can stream through the preloaded apps on your projector without screen mirroring through your Android/Windows device.

- Make sure your device is connected to the same network as your projector.
- Activate the screen mirroring software on your device.
- To activate screen mirroring on your Android™ device:
- On Samsung devices, swipe down from the top notification bar to the expanded view, and then swipe left (if necessary) and touch the "SmartView" icon to activate screen sharing.
NOTE: Check your device settings for the screen casting/screen mirroring options. The name of the function may vary by device model and service carrier. Other names used may include, "Cast," or "Screen Mirroring," as well as "Smart View". All devices must be running at least Android version 4.1.2.
- To activate screen mirroring on your Windows® 10 device:
- From the start menu, select "Settings."
- In the Settings menu, select "Devices."
- On the left side of the Devices menu, select "Connected Devices," and then click "Add a Device."
- Select the projector from the list of devices and select "Connect." A dialog box will pop up on the projector screen for you to confirm the connection; use the arrows or the remote to highlight "Accept" and press the confirm button.
- Your screen will now be mirrored to the projector.
- When finished, select Disconnect on your device.

- From the projector home screen, select "Source," select "Screen Mirroring," and then select "AirPlay". The name of the projector will be displayed on the screen so that you can accurately identify it when attempting to connect.

PRE-LOADED APPS
Your KODAK LUMA 350 Portable Smart Projector comes with a variety of entertainment apps preloaded for your convenience and enjoyment. You can access these apps from the home screen, and simply need to sign in to your associated account to use them.
USING THE APP STORE
- From the home screen, choose App Store.

- Use the arrows or the cursor to navigate through the available apps or search for the ones you want to download.
- Once your apps are downloaded, you may access them directly from the home screen, or by selecting the All Apps option on the home screen.

NOTE: Some of your favorite apps may look different when installed, due to the fact that the LUMA 350 utilizes the TV versions of these applications to accommodate the screen size and navigation.
UPDATING YOUR SOFTWARE
- From the home screen, select Settings.

- From the Settings menu, select Update.

- The system will then check for a software update and download it if necessary.
NOTE: You need to be connected to a wireless network to download a software update. - When the software update finishes, your projector will restart. You shouldn't lose any data in the process.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
- Do not attempt to disassemble this device for any reason.
- Do not store the projector in areas where it will be exposed to high temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight. Exposure to any or all of these could permanently damage the projector.
- Never handle the projector with damp or wet hands. This could damage the projector or create the risk of electric shock.
- Keep the projector out of the reach of children.
- Never point the projector at someone else's face or look directly into the projector light. The light is bright and could cause damage.
- Do not use products such as alcohol, gasoline, diluent, or any other organic solvent when cleaning or attempting to clean this product.
- Do not use this device in an environment where it will be exposed to heavy dust or humidity/moisture.
- Never drop or shake the projector, as this could cause it to malfunction or permanently damage the inside parts.
- Do not use the projector while bathing or in a shower.
- Do not place or store the projector where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.
- Do not place, drop, or submerge the projector in water or any other liquid.
- If the projector somehow falls into water despite you taking all of the above precautions, please do not reach into the water to retrieve it. Unplug it immediately and then retrieve it.
- Take care that objects do not fall and liquids are not spilled onto the projector.
IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE FOR KODAK LUMA 350 PORTABLE SMART PROJECTOR
This product has been designed to ensure the safety of the user when handled correctly, and in accordance with the user guide and instructions provided. It is important that the Kodak projector is handled properly and only used to project media as instructed in the user guide. For future reference, keep the user guide in a safe place.

- Keep away from children and infants. Improper use of this product may cause suffocation or accident.
- Do not install the projector in a place with no ventilation (e.g., a bookshelf or closet). The increased internal temperature may result in a fire.
- Do not place the projector near sources of steam, oil, or oil mist (e.g., humidifiers or kitchen counters), as this may result in fire, corrosion, or electric shock.
- Do not use the projector in a damp place where it is likely to get wet (e.g., bathroom). This may result in fire or electric shock.
- Ensure good ventilation around the projector. To prevent fire due to increased internal temperature, place it at least 30 cm (11.8") away from the wall.
- Stop using the device immediately if it emits smoke or a strange smell, or otherwise behaves abnormally.
- The projector has a built-in battery. Do not subject it to heat, expose it to an open flame, drop it, or otherwise apply impact to it. Doing so may cause the projector to explode, resulting in injury.
- If the projector is dropped in water or any foreign objects enter the device, unplug the cable, turn the projector off, and immediately cease use.

- Never attempt to take this product apart. You may be injured.
- If this product is dropped or damaged so that the inside is showing, do not touch it. Contact Kodak customer support at 844-516-1539 or email us at kodak@camarketing.com.
- Never get this product wet or handle it with wet hands. Doing so may result in electric shock and injury. Promptly unplug the USB cable once the battery is fully charged.
- Do not cover or wrap the projector or USB cable in a cloth or blanket, or otherwise place the projector in the sun or an environment where heat may build up. This could distort the casing and cause a fire.
- Use a soft dry cloth to clean the device. Do not clean with a damp cloth or volatile liquid such as paint thinner.
- If the device is not functioning properly, please contact the dealer you purchased the product from or Kodak customer support.
- Keep the cover closed to avoid dust and other particles from entering the inside of the device.
- Do not look directly into the projector lens when in use. This may cause damage to your eyes.
- When the lamp is on or has just been turned off, do not touch the air vent or lamp, as they will be very hot.
- Do not use the projector near devices that generate a strong magnetic field.
- Do not block the light beam emitted from the projector using a book or other object. The reflected heat may cause a fire and damage the lens.
- Proper ventilation is required. Do not block airflow around the unit, as this may cause injury and internal overheating.
Projector Care
- Do not get your projector wet or drop it and do not expose it to sand, dust, or dirt.
- Do not use cleaning products or solvents such as those with bleach or alcohol to remove dirt.
- In hot weather, do not leave your projector in places such as in a car or on the beach. Do not leave it in damp places or places where weather exposure could result.
- Be careful not to allow any impact to the lens during transport. Also, do not touch the lens or use sharp tools such as knives or hammers.
- Do not drop anything onto the projector or allow anything to bang into the projector, as this may cause internal damage.
- In order to avoid damage to your eyesight, it is recommended to maintain a distance of more than 5-7 times the diagonal length of the screen.
- Do not start the projector with the volume up high, as this may cause damage to your hearing.
- Do not use high-voltage electrical equipment (e.g., bug zappers) near the projector, as this may cause it to malfunction.
Battery
The battery is not charged at shipment. Before use, charge the battery completely using the supplied USB cable. Charging times will increase at ambient temperatures below 10°C (50°F) or above 35°C (104°F); at temperatures below 5°C (41°F), the battery will not charge.
At normal temperatures, the battery can be recharged about 300 times. A noticeable decrease in the length of time the battery will hold a charge indicates that it has reached the end of its service life.

Bluetooth® Devices

Read the following notices before using the product's built-in Bluetooth transmitter.
Use only as part of a Bluetooth network. Kodak and its affiliates do not accept liability for damages resulting from unauthorized use. Do not use in applications requiring a high degree of reliability, for example in medical devices or other systems that may directly or indirectly impact human life.
Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the Kodak representatives responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate the equipment. This transmitter must not be co-located or operated in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter.
Wireless data may be intercepted by third parties. The security of data transmitted over wireless networks is not guaranteed. Do not use the device in locations subject to magnetic fields, static electricity, or radio interference.
Do not use the transmitter in the vicinity of microwave ovens or in other locations subject to magnetic fields, static electricity, or radio interference that may prevent reception of wireless signals. Mutual interference may occur when the transmitter is used in the vicinity of other devices operating in the 2.4 GHz band.
The Bluetooth transmitter operates in the 2.4 GHz band. The standard output is approximately 3.16 mW. This device operates on the same frequency as commercial, educational, and medical devices and wireless transmitters. It also operates on the same frequency as licensed transmitters and special unlicensed low-voltage transmitters used in radiofrequency identification tracking systems for assembly lines and in other similar applications.
