Understanding the LEDs
Cause
The drive has failed to execute
power-on self test (POST).
The drive is ready for
operation.
The drive is carrying out a
normal activity (read, write).
The drive is in OBDR mode.
The drive is downloading
firmware.
Action required
Power cycle or reset the drive (see
with cartridges" on page 62).
If the error condition reappears, call for
service.
