The following state of the critical jumpers should be recovered in case something was changed and MSMV104+ does not enable correct function anymore.
  • Page 68 As SMXXPC-DK may be used for evaluation and comes within a complete package, the precise position of each connector is not given for version 2.3, 2.3a and 2.4. If you need to know the precise position of every connector and jumper, please contact Digital-Logic for an evaluation.

It rather means that the option present on the development kit can not be used. Please refer to the PC/104, PC/104+ manual to know what is possible to do with the product plugged on the DK.
