Some dust created by power sanding contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive
harm. An example of this type of chemical is lead from lead based paints, Crystalline Silica from bricks and cement or other masonry, Arsenic
and Chromium from chemically treated lumber. Your risk from these exposures varies, depending on how often you do this type of work.
To reduce your exposure: work in a well ventilated area and work with approved safety equipment, such as dusk masks that are specially
designed to filter out microscopic particles.

    Instructions may create a risk of electric shock or injury. BONNET INFORMATION & CARE The Performance Tool Random Orbital Buffer is supplied with two (2) bonnets: 1. Terrycloth bonnet - used to apply wax / polish onto the surface. 2. Synthetic wool bonnet - used for fine buffing and to finish the surface.
  • Page 6 3. To turn off, use your finger to push the ON/OFF switch (2). APPLICATIONS The Performance Tool Random Orbital Buffer can be used to polish and buff most high-gloss surfaces. The terrycloth application bonnet and synthetic wool bonnet are manufactured to apply and remove polishes and waxes.

    OPERATION CONTINUED 4. DO NOT PRESS DOWN ON THE SURFACE WITH THE ORBITAL BUFFER. Allow the machine’s random orbital action of the pad and bonnet, not pressure, to do the work. 5. After flat surfaces have been covered, buff curved surfaces such as car doors, quarter panels and fenders.
