Quick Start Guide
Pro-tip:
Activate your sensors to the Gateway from the comfort of your office, workshop,
lunchroom, then install. Detailed instructions can be found in manuals listed on
the documents tab of binmaster.com.
Prepare:
> On a smart phone, download VegaTools App at the Apple Store or Google Play
Store. Then, download BinCloud App on Apple or Google.
> Unbox your sensors and plan installation. LoRa communication enables a range
of several kilometres outdoors with some building penetration. Thanks to battery
power, sensor connection to gateways can be easily verified before installation.
> Take pictures of each sensor label and the Gateway label for reference and
troublshooting.
Let's go! Grab a sensor and open VegaTools app on your phone.
1. Press RFID/NFC Functions
2. Press Sensor Activation
3. Place your phone just to the side of the sensor logo (this activates Bluetooth)
4. Your sensor will appear. Click it.
5. Enter the Bluetooth access code found on the sensor label next to the smart-
phone icon.
6. You'll see a picture of the sensor with a green reading. Press Setup below that
picture.
7. Press radio transmission
8. Press LoRa settings
9. Verify Device EUI and App EUI look correct and press execute
10. Press back button
11. Press execute (ya, sounds silly, but necessary)

12. Open BinCloud app, find your location and verify the reading (might take 10-15
minutes)
