    PROCEDURE 110-4473 Route wire bundle from main handrail 715-4479-XX assembly 715-4479-XX through right upright 020-8186 rail 020-7854-XX and right beauty ring 020- 8187. 020-8187 Secure left and right upright rails and left (020-8187) and right (020-8186) beauty rings 020-7853-XX with 4 bolts 110-4473 each side - note that the beauty rings are left-right specific.

Once the handrail assembly is set onto the frame, check to ensure that the wires are not pinched - adjust the handrail assembly if they are.

    FIRST TIME SETUP SELECT THE MODEL Press and hold the 1, 2 on the left keypad and the 8 key on the right keypad together A beep will sound and “MAINTENANCE MODE” will display momentarily in the Information Window. Release all keys. “SERIAL NO #####” will display in the Information Window.

  • Page 17 FRONT OF TREADMILL CHECK FOR PROPER MOVING TRACKING SURFACE While standing on the moving surface, press the green Quick Start button, then increase the speed to 3mph (5kph). While walking on the moving surface, observe the moving surface: LEFT RIGHT If the moving surface stays centered, skip to step 1 on page 18.
  • Page 18 CHECK FOR PROPER MOVING SURFACE TENSION “STOMP TEST” Press the green Quick Start button, then increase the speed to 3mph (5kph). Walk on the moving surface then abruptly stomp and apply pressure with your foot while holding the handrails in attempt to stop the moving surface: If the moving surface does not stop, the tension is appropriate.

    OPERATION LED CONSOLES USING THE CONSOLE QUICK START Key Enables manual operation using a default weight, SPEED and a default time limit. NOTE: Default time and weight are adjustable through Maintenance Mode. STOP Button Press the STOP button to enter pause mode. Workout will be suspended and a countdown timer will begin counting down from 2 minutes.

    Display Measurements Message Window The top display window includes several measures: Current total workout time TIME Total distance traveled in mile or DISTANCE Current HR in beats per minute, HEART RATE if available Current total calories CALORIES Progress Window & Track Shows a graphic representation of elevation during a program.

    MAINTENANCE MODE Maintenance Mode allows access to service and diagnostic information, as well as provides the ability to adjust certain program default parameters. To enter Maintenance Mode: 1. Press and hold the 1, 2 and 8 keys on the left keypad together.
